"Sioda Interiors" to sponsor VIVA's "Burren 100" Cycle Challenge

This September 12th, VIVA's Wheelers take to the roads again to raise funds for VIVA's overseas programmes. This year we're staying at home with a one-day 100km cycle through the Burren in Co. Clare.

Beginning in Ballyvaughan the cycle will head towards the Ailwee caves before climbing across the limestone escarpment to pass the famous Dolmen at Poulnabroune. Kilfenora, famous for its high cross and Burren centre is the next stop before heading on to the colourful town of Ennistymon and the seaside town of Lahinch where the Atlantic ocean rolls in and delights surfers from far and wide. There is a climb to reach Ireland's most famous visitor attraction at the Cliffs of Moher before enjoying a wonderful descent to the musical village of Doolin. The final stretch is a wonderful 20km cycle along the coast of Clare with views across to the Aran Islands, Galway Bay and the Twelve Bens before arriving back in Ballyvaughan.

We're also delighted to welcome on board a new sponsor, Sioda Interiors (www.siodainteriors.com). Based in Dundalk, their Marketing Manager, Petua McNamee, is a regular participant in VIVA's cycle challenges and will also be joining us in the Burren.
